Mantrailing

Mantrailing is an activity where dogs use their keen noses to locate individuals based on their unique scent, comprised of skin cells, sweat, hormones, and bacteria. By providing the dog with an article containing the person's scent, they can follow the scent trail to find them. It's an enjoyable activity suitable for all breeds and ages of dogs, including reactive ones and those with no recall skills, offering quality bonding time between you and your furry companion.

Mantrailing workshop consists of:

Owner training session (2 hours, without dog) covering the following: History of dogs, the dog’s brain, the senses, scent article, trails and scent, weather conditions and motivation.

Owner training session would then be followed with 4 one day workshops with your dog.

"Presley has come on leaps and bounds and is currently being trained off his lead; he’s also learning new tricks like “paw” and “roll over”. Andy is an excellent trainer with a lot of patience and knowledge. Andy will guide you through whatever you want to gain out of the sessions. Presley has made some great friends (especially Andy) and continues to attend K9 Club!"
- Toby Tennant, Chihuahua owner
"Just finished 4 week puppy course was great fun and Claire was amazing with lots of tips and helpful advice would highly recommend"
- Leanne Payne, Cocker Poo owner
"I came across K9 Club. They were really helpful answering questions before I signed up and so we started level 1. I’m so glad we did. Toby loves Kata, she has taken time to get to know him and what makes him tick for training. She has vast knowledge, and genuinely cares about the dogs. She’s supportive with us owners too!"
- Sarah Oconnor-kerry, Collie owner
